Dutch oven cooking is always a big part of the Jones or Smith family reunions here are a few of the cooks getting started. This year K and Z made the scones that our family ate. K would flip them in the oil and take them out while Z carefully dropped the dough into the very hot oil. To bad I didn't get a pic of those little chefs doing their cooking. C was having a wonderful time swinging on the old tree swing as Dad and Mc took off up to go for a hike to see where the spring is that feeds this pretty camp spot in the Sweet Water Ranch. Jer kept begging to have a turn swinging too please but he wouldn't take off his black cowboy hat till the pool. K and Z with other cousins decide that teaching Jer how to slide into a muddy water pool sounds like a fun pass time. Yuck is all I could think. Our Pretty girl J got to drive some beautiful Belgium horses. She was thrilled and it came very naturally to her as she kisses at them to move up a bit more before stopping.
Then J got to sit a top their huge backs both her and K took a turn on the backs of these pretty animals.
You can see that they are very big animals but remember that J is not a really tall girl either.
Then Dad had to be a nut and give me the rabbit ear look in our cute photo shot.
