FLYING 4, 24 HOURS
Well we delivered the goods and now we wait to know if there was a secure arrival. Elder Jones has been a missionary for three days now and is still in the plane as I type. The kids didn’t cry we laughed because it was so funny to watch him taking off his shoes and opening his bags that he had packed so meticulously and of course he handed back the hairspray that I told him they would not let him have in his carry on. He was the last one to go through the security checks. I think he was prolonging it a bit out of fear. J. still doesn’t believe it’s real, yet when we got home the first things she did was go drive her car that used to be Tyrell’s; she bought it from him. When he was out of our sight we drove over behind some warehouses that butt up against the tarmac and were able to tell when his plane took off because it was the biggest one there and left at 11:20 on the nose. The kids waved and stood on top of the sub so maybe if he was on the right side of the plane he got to see them. Then after a long DR. appointment for Jer. we headed home. With Elder Jones leaving fall arrived, now time to get firewood and wear hoodies to school.
