The mission paperwork went in and the wait started. It really wasn’t that long of a wait. The post office called early Friday morning before we left to help Tyrell move out of his college apartment. They asked if we wanted them to deliver it or were we coming to get the big white envelope that was from the church headquarters. Of course we were coming to get it. Tyrell said it took forever for us to drive to Manti, he must have called 10 times asking us were we were at now. Finally we were sitting in the Chinese restaurant he announced that he would be going to South Africa the Johannesburg mission and would report to the MTC there not in Provo. He would not be leaving until September 15th that he didn’t think was as great as he is ready to go right now. He texted over 100 contacts and then his phone died so we were not sure who got the announcement. He was so surprised and excited and wanted to tell his good friend Will who had already left on his mission but of course he had to wait to send a letter because his computer was taken apart to pack up. He called the kids and made them guess, C. hit it on the nose and they all searched the globe to see where it was located. We quickly did all the work to get the passport sent off and that has been forever wait but even it has finally arrived and he is very relived. Now all that’s left is to get the clothing and send in the stuff for his visa. It’s been one month since that letter arrived only three months and one half left to go. Really it’s been a life time of preparation and years of waiting. There really are still many years to go for all the other boys that this family has.
